For an IT Company, we are looking for a
Project System Engineer
The Project System Engineer is responsible for the installation, the migration, the configuration, the tuning and any other system project related task of solutions. He supports the Project System Engineer Manager in defining a preliminary analysis and, when this is approved, he delivers the activity according to the existing Activity Plan. In addition, the Project System Engineer carries on Dev Ops activities in cooperation with the R&D to reduce the delivery effort of any software released by our R&D.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Delivery of the assigned Project tasks according to a defined Activity Plan.
Producing written reports, providing the PM and the Manager with a status update of the assigned activity and warning about possible project risks
Supporting the evolution of system architecture design and automated deployment methodologies, by leveraging the experience gained on the field.
Supporting the QA team in developing test plans to check systems functions and performance, making recommendations for improvement.
Supporting the Solution Architect function in the definition of requirements, layout, backup and recovery policies for data and applications.
Delivery of System Training to colleagues and customers
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
3-5 years in deployment of distributed, multi-tier, mission critical systems
Excellent knowledge of Linux, RHEL/CentOS a plus
Good knowledge of automation tools: Ansible, Git, Terraform, Jenkins, CloudFormation
Good knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, Perl)
Good knowledge of Application Clustering systems (Symantec Infoscale/RHCS)
Good knowledge of vmware
Good knowledge of at least one of the main public cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure
Good knowledge of Web and Application Server: NGiNX, Apache Tomcat
Familiarity with storage systems, filesystems and protocols: NetApp, Dell EMC, Nutanix, ZFS, XFS, Ext4, NFS, iSCSI/FC
Familiarity with tracking and documentation tools: Atlassian Jira and Confluence
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems and to analyze log
Sense of responsibility

Education and Training
Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree or related field
Knowledge of German and/or French is considered a plus
